Air Mattress Pump - Save Your Breath, You Need an Air Mattress Pump!
If you have ever used an air mattress you are well aware of the importance of the air mattress pump. The technology of air mattresses has
significantly increased over the years as you may have noticed. The first round of air mattress products were made with bulky and unwieldy air
mattress pumps that were often subject to malfunctioning.
Today, a variety of air mattress products are available that are every bit as comfortable as a regular mattress. Pump
technology has also been upgraded and for the most part, miniaturized, enabling the portability of air mattresses to be maximized.
Many air mattress pumps are actually embedded within the mattress. This feature is great for a variety of reasons. First, if
you are going camping, all it takes is either a car A/C adaptor, or in some cases, a handful of batteries to have instant comfort while roughing
it in the woods.
Air mattress pumps are highly convenient and can also be used in air mattress products in homes and apartments. In fact,
turning to the durable and high quality products available today is an inexpensive option while still receiving high caliber comfort.
Some air mattress pumps are not included with the air mattress. In this case, you will have to go out and purchase a stand
alone pump. There are basically two different kinds of air mattress pumps. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Electrical pumps usually
inflate rapidly and fill completely to comfort in a matter of minutes. Manual pumps are great for ‘roughing it’ as they need no electricity to
operate. The drawback to this form of pump is the lengthy time required to inflate the air mattress.
One of the great things about pumps is that they are not solely for use with an air mattress. Many pumps can be used to
inflate a variety of items: athletic equipment, bicycle tires, automobile tires, swim equipment and more. Before you buy a stand alone pump make
sure it is compatible with the air mattress you have chosen.
