Bath Robe Blues

The history of wardrobes in western society is not something that can be condensed into anything less than several volumes. In simple terms though, clothing styles change over the years and, in some instances, the changes can be quite radical. In most instances, the changes are subtle and minor usually involving a little tweak on an old convention. Some things never really go out of fashion, however, but still do not always get their proper respect as the way the world looks at fashion is not always fair.

The bath robe has not always gotten a fair shake in the media. Often times, a person who is wearing a bath robe will usually be performing some simple task in the most inept manner possible. Probably the most common of this goof ups will be the silly person who walks out their front door wearing a bath robe and the door closes. Lo and behold, the dopey person is locked out and hilarity ensues as they fumble their way through getting back into the house. Yes, this is another highly simple task that the robed one can not perform with any success.

However, a great many people love to wear bath robes and they are not limited to people who are low in intelligence. In fact, a great many professional people own a bath robe or two as evidenced by the prevalence of designer robes on the market that are made from high quality material that costs a fairly significant amount of money!

Now, this is not a reason for people who are on a budget to fret the ability to afford a decent bath robe. There are also a significant number of high quality robes that are available on the market that fall well into the range of affordability.
