There is nothing wrong with solid colors for bedding. All the various solid colors that bedding is offered in have a decent look to them. As long as the bedding is of a decent quality and is not prone to rips or tears easily, you will get your money’s worth out of a bedding set. There is one negative, however, when it comes to solid color bedding: it can be a bit dull.

If you are more concerned with function rather than being concerned with décor, then solid color daybed bedding is not such a bad option. Considering, however, that the price for multicolored bedding is the same as solid color bedding, then it is at least worth the effort to explore one’s options at purchasing the snazzier designed daybed bedding.

When it comes to the different styles and designs, the linens can come in stripes, swirls floral, checkered or any number of different types of designs. These unique and different designs, at times, can be made in such a way that they look thoroughly artistic. Actually, it would be unfair to suggest that these types of daybed bedding merely look like something that is artistic. They are a work of art.

Many times, the thought process that goes into designing different color schemes and patterns for bed covers is not given the credit that it deserves. This is an unfortunate result of bedding being easily accessible for purchase and the fact that the designs have been reproduced by way of mass reproduction. Neither of these reasons are good reasons to dismiss the talent that is required to come up with the different patterns and designs. Sadly, things are not always fair.

Ultimately, the decision as to what type of look your daybed bedding should be is up to the purchaser. Hopefully the purchaser will recognize true artistry when it is visible.
