Use Wall Murals for a Home Office
The next addition to my home office will be a wall mural. In fact, I'd have one now
except for the problem of moving all my equipment to install the mural. As I plan to relocate in a few months, I've contented myself
with narrowing down the list to decide what mural I want to use. When I move I will need only to place the order for the correct size
for the new home office and can install it before adding the desks, shelves and computer equipment.
The variety of mural designs available was a surprise to me. From Disney murals, to abstract geometric murals - there are literally
hundreds available. My own list has narrowed to about 10 or so nature murals featuring forests and lakes or waterfalls. The first
step in choosing a mural for your room is to decide what you want to accomplish with it. Do you want it to be stimulating with bright
colors and original art....or do you want a quiet peaceful feeling when you look at your wall mural?
Murals are especially good used in children's rooms. Though they are often too large for bathroom areas, they can provide stimulating
visual interest in a baby's room or kid's room. If your child has a hobby or special interest, chances are you can find a mural to suit
that topic.
Installing the murals is as easy as adding wallpaper. You can order by the size of your wall and the mural will arrive in strips
precut, prematched and ready to hang. If your wall is slightly larger than the mural, no problem. Just paint the wall (or just
the outside edges of the wall) with a color that complements the mural and that part of the wall that is visible will act as a frame for your
wall mural.
Whatever you do, check pricing carefully. I have found a significant difference in prices for the same mural from different online
sources. By taking an hour to do some comparison shopping, you can buy at the best price. Do be sure, though, that the quality of
the lower priced product is comparable.
